The Goddess Harp like The Ocarina can play various songs that can aid the user. First appearing in Skyward Sword, it would seem that it too was passed through the ages.
- Remote Bomb: A bomb that can be detonated remotely.
- Remote Bomb+: Upgrade to the rune with a shorter cooldown time.
- Magnesis: Manipulate metallic objects using magnetism.
- Stasis: Stop the flow of time for an object.
- Stasis+: Upgrade to the rune with a shorter cooldown time, and with the capacity to freeze living beings.
- Cryonis: Create a pillar of ice from a water surface.
- Camera: Instantly render a visible image into a picture.
- Master Cycle Zero: A DLC exclusive and the reward of The Champions' Ballad; it summons a rideable motorcycle-like Divine Beast that is fueled by Materials.
In Disney Canon, while she never completed her training, Leia was actually pretty good with a blade, having even beat Luke in a Lightsaber duel, and was able to finish Rey's training.
- Force Pull: A telekinetic ability using the Force that could cause a material body to draw close to the user.
- Force Push: The most basic applications of Force Push utilized telekinetically-derived force to push objects away from the user.
- Force Grip: A highly versatile and adaptable use of telekinesis, as it was used to physically grip a target, or a specific part of a target, in order to exert more direct control over them beyond simple levitation.
- Force Wave: One of the most powerful forms of Force Push, it was essentially a wave of pure Force energy that pulsed out from the Force user that utilized it which knocked back anything within the power's blast radius.
- Force Shockwave:Force Shockwave, also known as Focus Shockwave or Force Bomb, was a Force power that allowed a Force-user to emit a powerful destructive ring of energy, damaging or destroying anything in its radius.
- Force Repulse:An extremely powerful telekinetic Force power similar in function to Force Push, and perhaps even more to Force Blow, but on a far larger scale, akin to that of Force Wave, Force Repulse was no more or less than a gigantic telekinetic explosion.
- Force Blast: A powerful telekinetic exertion of the Force that was basically a more powerful version of Force Push, where the user would (hence its name) blast opponents and obstacles out of the way in a much more violent manner than a simple push.
- Force Throw: A combination of Force Push and Force Grip, this technique is used to cause objects, and even people, to be hurled toward a target or an area at an astounding velocity.
- Force Barrier: Force Barrier was both a defensive and offensive technique that allowed the user to create a barrier or wall of Force energy around the intended target, be it self, friend, or foe.
- Force Choke: A purely offensive technique, this telekinetic ability was used to grip or squeeze a living being's throat or trachea, in effect choking or strangling them if used at a low intensity. Force Choke could also be used to apply physical force on the target's neck to allow a user to grab and hold their target by the neck without physically touching them, which could also allow a user could potentially crush their victim's throat or even break their victim's neck and vertebrae by applying enough pressure.
- Force Crush: One of the most violent Force abilities known to the Sith and the Jedi, this deadly technique lifted the opponent into the air and as they were floating, their body would implode as it was crushed by the Force.
- Saber Throw: The Force user, whether by manually locking the blade in the 'on' position or holding in the activation button using the Force, could throw the lightsaber in a boomerang fashion, with it cutting its way through obstacles and (usually after deactivation) returning to the hand of the caster.
- Combustion: An advanced, telekinetic Force ability that allowed users to cause objects to explode by sheer force of will. It was rarely used on a person, and the effects it had on inanimate objects and people were devastating.
- Levitation: Levitation was a Force power that allowed Jedi to suspend themselves against the Force of gravity. Levitation required no direct physical contact. Note- Leia's not the best at this technique.
- Leia is able to sense Luke's fall to the Dark Side
- Free Luke from the Emperor telepathic dominion
- Despite the fact that the Millennium Falcon sensors are blinded and visually, and the there is nothing to be seen, Leia is able to sense the Emperor's presence and his intentions. Palpatine himself is impressed.
- Can probe and dispel Luke's influence in her mind
- Despite the little training and being drugged Leia was able to resist mind control
- Leia senses everything in a forest, from tiny bloodbats to packs of Ewok-sized spiders, and senses that all of them are waiting for a chance to attack
- Can sense someones presence despite their concealment in The Force
- Can use Mind Tricks on someone who claims not to be weak minded
- Can sense her son in The Force
- Was able to use the last of her life force to send a message to Ben telepathically and conjure up an illusion of Han to talk to him
Force Harmony is a light-sided power where multiple Force users can join their Force energies together for powerful but non-violent effects. Often, the manifestation of these light-sided energies can protect oneself or another from dark sided powers, or cut Dark Siders off from the Dark Side of the Force entirely.
Leia uses Force Harmony in unison with Luke and Anakin(her son not her dad) to cut off Palpatine from the dark side, causing him to lose control of his Force Storm.
Battle Meditation
- Mind manipulation
- Illusion Creation
- Memory manipulation
- Precognition and possible Fate manipulation (Should compare to Luke who was capable of resisting Cronal’s Dark Sight, an ability which he described as allowing him to perceive countless possibilities and then create the exact future he desires.)
- Telekinesis
- Transmutation- Having training in The Force allows one to resist a Sith artifact that can forcefully mutate others into Rakghouls.
- Fear and madness manipulation
- Paralysis inducement
- Possible resistance to Soul and Lifeforce Absorption- Should be comparable to Revan who defended his consciousness from being destroyed by the echoes of Vitiate’s Force Drain ritual on Nathema. Her father knows a technique which allowed him to become immune to the Dark Reaper’s Force Drain, which harvested a being’s Living Force and could kill entire planets in an instant.
- Possible resistance to Atomazation- The Dark Reaper's ability harvested The Living Force. The Living Force is responsible for the composition of spirits. To be drained of the Force on this level can also destroy one’s atomic structure.
Zelda has the ability to use light magic for a variety of attacks separate from her Bows and Arrows of Light. She can also repel and destroy evil with her power of light, if Mineru is to be believed.
- Shoot out balls of light that applies rings to nearby energy
- Shoot out pillars of light that will suck in nearby enemies
- Create light with symbol on the ground which will put rings around nearby enemies and detonate
- Zelda Weak Point Smash allows her to envelop the area with light magic or fire off a massive beam
- She can combine her light magic with the Light Arrows for a more devastating attack
- Can shoot beams of Light from her sword
- Has used a blast to stun foes like Ganon
- She could mix both her Time and Light Powers to unleash a devastating blast
- Rauru was able to bind Ganondorf Beneath Hyrule Castle for thousands of years
- Rauru's arm has the ability to fuse anything together, move and attach different objects, ascend and move through any surface above you, and auto build any former creation. (He also had a camera in his hand, weird)
In many of the games, either due to her status as a Sage or her connection to Hylia, Zelda has managed to seal her foes multiple times.
- Seals Ganondorf away at the end of OOT into The Sacred Realm
- In the Fallen Timeline, Zelda and The Sage's seal Ganon away into the Sacred Realm
- Sealed away Calamity Ganon
- Alongside Link, seal Ganon's soul
- Seals Ganon away in a book
Through prayer and other means, Zelda can summon allies like sprits and faries. For example The Spirits of Light, who were set to Hyrule to contain the light that sustains it. The Spirits have the ability of sealing and even resurrection.
- Life Infusion: The ability to create life out of nothing, the three Golden Goddesses were able to create the land of Hyrule out of nothing by infusing it with their own powers and Hylia was able to create Fi from her sword.
- Purification: the ability to purify something or someone and free it from evil energies.
- Wish Granting: The ability to grant any wish.
- Power Granting: The ability to give some of your own power to those you deem worthy.

- Telekinesis
- The Ability to Purify or Repel Evil
- Healing
- Time Travel
- Possession-In Spirit Tracks, Zelda has her soul separated from her body, and as a ghost, she is capable of possessing Phantoms to use as her body.
- Sensing Dangers
- Intangibility
- Regeneration
- Power Nullification
- Teleportation
- Transmutation- Can turn people into a reflection of their heart and mind.
- Existence Erasure
- Transmutation- Zelda is unaffected by the areas of Twilight, unlike her people who are turned into living spirit forms, possibly due to the Triforce of Wisdom.
- Fate Manipulation- Malmord controls fate, yet couldn't affect Zelda
- Mind Manipulation
- Soul Manipulation
- Unholy and Corruption Manipulation
- Possession-able to resist Ganondorf attempt to possess her body.
Oneness was the state of union with the Force. While under normal circumstances this could only be achieved after a Force-sensitive had died and passed into the Netherworld of the Force, this was not always the case.
In some circumstances, individuals managed to become akin to a living manifestation of the dark side of the Force—or even the light side of the Force, although they were prone to severe temptations to the dark side. They essentially became nothing more than an extension—a tool—of the Force, and were at a perfectly calm state.
Luke Skywalker was able to naturally achieve oneness with the Force more than once. Barriss Offee was also able to achieve this state two times with the help of the bota with which she injected herself. She experienced a state of oneness with the Force that she described as being in all times, all places, and all things, twisting the very fabric of space and time, connecting her to the third and fourth dimension, and the very essence of the universe and all time and space.
Leia became one with both the dark side using her anger and later the light side after entering the Unidentified monolith. While in this latter state she created a shell of golden Force lightning around herself and also used the power of Golden Flash to burn her foes to nothingness. Golden Flash erased the history and even identifies of their enemies. The power of Golden Flash was so great it consumed Leia and Luke (who was also empowered), to the point where they were caught between death and life for an eternity, realizing that there existed nothing in reality besides the Force itself.
Leia achieved Oneness with a golden glow dictates full oneness with all aspects of the Force. Only downside is that you start to lose your individuality, as you began to become one with The Force, dissolving your body. You are caught in a space between life and death, the only reason Leia survived and returned to her body was due to her love for Han. Actually, due to returning to the world of the living, Leia's body was remade and returned to a state of youth.
Force Ghost
Force spirits, also known as Force ghosts, are beings who gained immortality through the preservation of their consciousness after death. When lifeforms died, they became one with the Force. Through special training, however, deceased Force-sensitives could retain their identity and, therefore, communicate with the living. By achieving spiritual immortality, a person's physical form would vanish upon their death. This knowledge could be learned only by those who fully embraced the light side of the Force, such as the Jedi who lived by a code of selflessness and sacrifice. The followers of the dark side of the Force, such as the Sith, were incapable of learning this power, though there were many techniques open to them that offered similar benefits.
Force Ghost have shown the ability to interact with the physical world, other ghost, other living beings, and are even able to continue fighting. Anakin was able to manifest a lightsaber as a Force Spirit, protect Luke from other Sith spirits, and train both his former Padawan and Grandson, Cade. Leia achieved this form with the help of her father upon her death.
Zelda Hyrule
Sheik
Sheik appears to be a male Sheikah but is in fact a persona of Princess Zelda. Zelda disguises herself as Sheik for most of Ocarina of Time, revealing her true identity only at the end of the game. Sheik uses her Goddess Harp to teach Link several Warping Songs throughout the game.
As Sheik, Zelda can do the following:
- Sheik is seemingly immune to the high temperatures of Death Mountain. For context, Link is incapable of even entering the crater of Death Mountain, an area filled with lava, until he gains the Goron Tunic, which somehow protects him from the high temps.
- Summons a wall of fire to block Link from following her.
- Sees or senses Bongo-Bongo, an invisible spirit and final boss of the Shadow Temple, approaching from the Well in Kakariko Village.
- Summon a sandstorm to distract Link as she disappear.
- As Sheik, one of Zelda's combos summons a water spout that traps enemies within its confines and does continuous water damage. This builds up magic to allow her to play a song on the Goddess Harp.
- As Sheik, one of Zeldas combos can summon a fiery meteor to fall down upon her enemies and explode on impact that does fire damage, doing no harm to Sheik in the process. This builds up magic to allow her to play a song on the Goddess Harp.
- As Sheik, one of Zelda's combos allows her to summon a wall of thunder clouds to hit enemies right in front of her. As seen above the dark clouds, this allows Sheik to build up lightning magic to allow her to play a song on her Goddess Harp.
- As Sheik, one of Zelda's combos allows her to unleash multiple omni-directional pulses of light energy to blast away enemies. This builds up light magic to allow her to play a song on her Goddess Harp.
- As a part of Sheik's Focus Spirit depleting fully, she unleashes a final AoE magic electrical burst that blasts away all opponents surrounding near her, doing electrical damage to all enemies caught in it.
- Zelda seems to have a degree of invisibility to where people cannot seem to see or hear her. At least, not clearly. There are some exceptions to this, like Link, the Sage of the Tower of Spirits, and those of the Demon Tribe who serve Maladus.
- According to Zelda, she cannot carry anything while in spirit form, implying that she isn't a poltergeist.
- Zelda is non-corporeal enough to phase through solid objects.
- Zelda's lack of mass allows her to defy the laws of gravity to float and fly anywhere she wishes.
- She does seem to be able to interact with other living beings seeing as he gives Link a high five
- When Zelda's Focus Spirit is depleted, rats surround Zelda, scaring her into unleashing a final light explosion that sends omni-directional waves outward on enemies.
- Zelda's Focus Spirit Special Attack has her teleporting the Phantom in a puff of smoke above the enemies and dropping it in the form of a Phantom Ball down on the battlefield hard enough to send enemies flying and leaving a crater in its wake with debris everywhere.
- Zelda is impervious to fire and lava in her Phantom form.
- As a Warp Phantom, Zelda is connected to small objects called Phantom Eyes, which she can use to teleport to and from. Normal Warp Phantoms also tend to use these as their eyes from intruders, so it's possible they work the same way for Zelda on top of her own two eyes.
- Another variant of Phantoms that Zelda can inhabit are the Wrecker Phantoms. Although we can perhaps scale this Phantom's strength and durability to other Phantoms, there are unique things about this Phantom compared to the others. As a Wrecker Phantom, Zelda gains the ability to shape-shift into a large boulder ball that bulldozes through large objects like stacks of bricks.
As seen in BOTW and AOC, this is the form Zelda undertook when she unlocked her sealing powers, it was also the form where we see Zelda's has the power of the full Triforce, she has since learned to use some of her powers of this form without the form, but she still has access to it.

Hello, everyone! MKF4 here, ready to pitch in my verdict for Princess Leia vs. Princess Zelda!
This matchup is relatively new to me, but I can see the appeal of it for certain. Both franchises are ones I’m rather familiar with, coming about with plenty of personal history in different ways. But I suppose one might wonder where I stand with this particular debate. It’s a huge honor to be here, and I hope you all enjoy this roller coaster of forces incomprehensible clashing!
All with my own brand of predicting, of course. It’s been a few months since I visited my dear old blog in true fashion, so I suppose that energy is flowing through me again. Yes, that means pony jokes. Let’s get going!
Stats for this blog are always going to be a mess. Any way you look at it, nobody is ever going to have complete agreement on Star Wars or Legend of Zelda stats, and where you think they can get will fluctuate nightmarishly hard depending on who you ask. We’re talking anywhere from planet level to solar system to galaxy to universal to low-complex to much, much higher. Now admittedly, I don’t have time to bash my head into a wall and discuss which ones I think are legitimate and which ones are not. I’m not going to be dropping a full document on cosmology today, so don’t worry, this won’t actually be too difficult.
Generally, I think the lower ends are fine. Vader vs. Obito gave Star Wars a solid planet level feat, while Tears of the Kingdom fully locked and loaded a valid large planet level feat for The Legend of Zelda. They’re both decently clear-cut and valid feats, though one is definitely significantly more powerful than the other. Ganondorf’s Blood Moon feat tends to reach higher values than the Ewoks one, so at this stage, Zelda definitely has an advantage. And any arguments for upscaling with Leia you can do the same with Zelda, especially since she’s being given the Full Triforce here.
This is generally the sort of pattern we tend to have with this matchup. Both parties tend to have higher ends that can match each other blow for blow, up until you reach the particularly high ends for Star Wars that I admittedly don’t really think are all that solid. I’m not going to delve too hard into this but I’m not all that crazy about the highest end Oneness arguments, so I won’t really be touching them today. For me personally, pretty much anything you can argue for either side, the other can generally match in some capacity, though more often than not Zelda probably has a slight edge.
Moon feats? Both are cool, but Zelda’s is much stronger. Palpatine can destroy a star system or be superior to Valley Jedi that could do the same? The Vaati feat can probably match that to some level and Zelda would upscale massively with the Triforce. Palpatine or Abeloth can reshape the galaxy, which could be argued to maybe be universal? Well, with similar leeway, Yuga was going to reshape two. It’s generally the same song and dance as feats get more and more out there and probably fewer people buy them. Like I said, I’m not really here to put a full stake in where exactly I would place either, just that generally I think if you give one such leeway, the other can probably get the same, though Zelda tends to eek it out ever so slightly. It of course can extend further than universes, with higher-dimensional arguments and whatnot, but for the long and short of it, my stance remains the same on those and they generally are likely to cancel out. As for speed, it’s more or less probably going to be the same, though Zelda’s feats generally seem to have a slight edge unless you just cap them both as immeasurable at the all-out end.
What does that leave? Well, still a few things left to cover with this fight. In general, stats aren’t going to be all that major of a factor, so the general deciding factors are likely going to be things like experience, skill, and most importantly, hax.
One can probably argue that Leia has the advantage against Zelda in skill, at least with Legends. Her direct training is pretty solid, and certainly outclasses any direct battle training Zelda had, outside of maybe with her magic. Zelda tends to have Link around to do direct combat for her anyway.
Conversely, Zelda has the field when it comes to experience. There are a lot of Zeldas we’re compositing here, and they definitely outclass Leia when it comes to adventures and exploits had. Zelda’s simply seen a lot more mayhem than Leia in any way you look at it. Generally, skill and experience are probably going to cancel out to some degree. Leia is the more skilled fighter, but Zelda has seen a lot more of this sort of thing and is more familiar with fighters like Leia than vice versa. That really boils down to hax.
From here, I think things start becoming more clear-cut overall on how this fight is probably going to go. To make one thing clear, due to Leia’s connection with The Force and Zelda’s possession of the Triforce, neither side is going to be pulling off certain hax on the other. They can’t be transmuted, or mind controlled, or possessed, or other such magical tomfoolery and shenanigans. As such, you can likely just deposit those in your local rubbish bin and start discussing what really matters.
What can Leia dish out that Zelda can’t bypass?
Well, she has… um…
Don’t worry folks, I’m just as surprised as you. I triple checked the extensive list of Leia hax just to be safe. But somehow, we’re stuck in this embarrassing situation that is going to have somebody absolutely throw the book at me. But as it stands, I’m not convinced Leia has… really anything that can actually take Zelda out.
Telekinesis? Child’s play, Zelda counters that with ease. Mind control? Don’t be silly. Battle Meditation? Zelda should be able to counter that and can boost her own stats anyway with Focus Spirit. Force Barriers? Nayru’s Love. Fold Space or stasis? Zelda’s teleportation can likely do the same and get her out of any binds.
This is more or less one of the big issues. Leia has, quite literally, nothing on her own hax list that Zelda doesn’t counter or trump in some way, and I’m one of those grumpy debaters that sits in a rocking chair and doesn’t like giving Leia hax she has never actually displayed. For those wondering though, pretty much all of the real significant “arguable” hax in Leia’s list tends to be messing with Zelda’s body or mind in some way, be it a transmutation like move, or a mind attack, or something more direct. The problem is that the Triforce has a stupidly good track record of no-selling that sort of thing all the time. You can maybe argue that Leia’s hax are a bit too specific to just say the Triforce would negate it, but this feels like a very generous argument to make when the Triforce just shuts stuff like this down all of the time. As it currently stands, I believe you can maybe argue that Leia has options if you’re generous and really particular on what the Triforce negates, but there is really nothing that’s solid at all.
There is, to be clear, one particular item that does threaten Zelda if it comes into play. That, of course, is Oneness. While I’ve already established that I’m not a fan of the higher end stats, one could argue that the Golden Flash’s existence erasure would be capable of doing the job against Zelda without any issue. That would probably get past any defenses Zelda tends to have, so we run into the question of how reliably the Golden Flash can take Zelda out in a regular battle.
This is where problems crop up.
Leia has only tapped into Oneness a single time, when she entered an unidentified monolith and fought within it. That’s cool and all, but it’s the only time Leia has hit this state, and the monolith is very much a unique conduit of The Force. If we were dealing with Luke, then this wouldn’t be an issue, he’s hit Oneness several times. But Leia, well, not so much. That just leaves me with one question.
It’s not like Leia can just waltz into that monolith while fighting Zelda and tap into Oneness, now, is it? The one that’s specifically closed off after the fight? It just feels like a very generous leap to be giving Leia Oneness if that’s quite literally the only time she tapped into it was a location-specific buff. If for whatever reason Leia could get into this form, then I could probably see her winning, but as of the current time, I’m not all that convinced Leia should be getting this massive amp given how specific it is.
But that of course is just me. I’m sure some folks might disagree, or maybe have evidence pointing to otherwise, but for right now I don’t see it being a real factor. As such, Leia doesn’t have much convincing me with her hax right now.
Conversely, Zelda has a lot of things that get resisted, but some things very much shine through and will be capable of wrapping this fight up with ease.
To my surprise, Leia doesn’t really have any hax that mess with time, which is a problem to put it lightly. As some of you might know, the Legend of Zelda series loves playing with time, and Zelda herself has her fair share of powers with it. Time travel, recall, stasis, time resets if we give her the Ocarina, and so on and so forth. The problem is that Leia doesn’t resist any of these, so the second Zelda taps into any time related powers, she’s probably going to win the battle.
Crazy how consistent that is.
Anyway, Zelda has a few other things in her surprisingly big bag of tricks, so let’s tackle some more. Leia doesn’t resist sealing, in fact, the opposite is shown to be true. Abeloth, you know, the big baddie of Star Wars, can be sealed away by the Son and Daughter once they defeat her. Obviously, the Son and Daughter are a league of their own, but the point is that if Abeloth of all people can be sealed away at a certain point, why on earth would Leia be able to resist being sealed by something as potent as the Triforce? Zelda’s sealing magic is, put simply, a very reliable one-shot on Leia, and should very reliably be capable of taking her down without any issues.
Zelda has two incredibly good one-shot options that she can whip out at pretty much any time to ruin Leia’s day, and that’s also not accounting for all the little things that her hax can also give her. She’s got her summons, she has those cool fusion powers like Ultrahand and whatnot if we assume she has Rauru’s powers, maybe some Divine Magic reality warping, and her healing is probably more potent overall. None of those on their own are exactly immediate winners, but little things do add up, and Zelda has more of these little things slipping through the cracks than vice-versa.
Generally, this is more or less the point with this debate. Both sides are likely to always be at least somewhat even, but Zelda consistently tends to edge it out where it matters most. They have stat arguments across the board, but Zelda’s tends to get a little bit higher in the safest ends. This is especially prevalent if Leia shouldn’t get access to Oneness, which just shuts off her highest end arguments entirely, though that’s obviously a subject up for debate. Zelda’s experience and intelligence can match Leia’s skill and strategies. And Zelda just outright wins in hax. You have to make some very sizable and generous leaps for anything in Leia’s kit to be capable of putting a dent into Zelda. The same cannot be said the other way around. Leia doesn’t resist time stops. She doesn’t resist Zelda doing anything in the past. She definitely doesn’t resist the sealing. She can’t get a numbers edge like Zelda can with summons. Her healing isn’t as good. And so on, and so forth. You probably get the idea of what I’m going for by now.
Overall, I can absolutely see why some folks might think Princess Leia has the advantage in this battle, but for myself (and only myself), I personally have to say that Princess Zelda has the magic she needs to force out a victory more often than not. The absurd protection of the almighty Triforce, Zelda’s magic, and her lengthy experience in combat and study should give her everything she needs to down Leia once and for all. You can certainly argue this is a close bout, or maybe that Leia wins, but that’s more or less where I find myself standing with this clash.
Thank you very much once again to the blog runners for having me on, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
It's really nice to be here to debate the iconic fantasy princess leaders that uses mysterious power that resembles their franchise. Anywho, for stats; I think Leia has the edge in power. Zelda's divine magic to affect universes such as Hyrule, Sacred Realm, and more; might be an impressive feat for a legendary princess but Leia's power with Oneness, let alone the force, is comparable with The Galaxy itself; which seems to be larger and more complex than Zelda's timelines that includes Hyperspace, Otherspace, etc. They also has similar speed via moving through time with their main power so you could say they are comparable to each other at some way. Overall, Leia is just more powerful with her that able to be on par with Palpatine, Luke, and even Avatar Abeloth who threatens whole timelines while Zelda fights opponents who are like that but less layered in terms of how many dimensions they have.
Now to the most important part, abilities/hax; Zelda has tons of equipment that she's expert at it, but Leia's lightsabers pretty much cancels out of Zelda's swords and pistols. However Zelda has the full Triforce which makes her do reality warping alongside existence erasure, telepathy, wish granting, etc. which could prove a threat to Leia at first. Unfortunately for Zelda, The Force has the answers that would close this deal. Leia's abilities with The Force has Matter Alteration which Zelda is vulnerable to it, resisting Fate Manipulation from having similar power to Luke resisting Cronal's Dark Sight which makes Zelda's wish granting basically useless, and Force Drain which absorbs Zelda's life force to the point Zelda's spirit form would not be appearing in the fight. Leia's passive precognition will alert her what attack is coming to her such as Zelda's Light Magic even if she's far away from Leia. Zelda's time magic might be a trouble for Leia...until Oneness starting to form with time itself and controls it. Zelda's sealing could contain Leia and possibly incapacitate her but with the Force Sense that will know her all of her surroundings would make Leia aware of it and will stay away from getting up close. Zelda's godly magic might prove a challenge to Leia but Organa's abilities is more likely to be a difficult task for Cassandra (If you know the reference) via having less resistances to some haxes that she hasn't dealt with and Leia's AOE will help her overcome the situation.
Last but not least, Experience and Intelligence; For combat, they are really comparable with their own style of swordfighting and skills for years. In general, Leia lead the Rebellion for a few decades but Zelda lead Hyrule for a century straight so she def takes the advantage in experience. For smarts, you could say Leia is really smart with her strategy on battling the Dark Side plans for a really long time while Zelda had a long IQ fight with Ganon for ages on different scenarios. So in this part of the category, it would be undecided by having the same strategy to each other.
In the end of the galaxy, Zelda is a very strong princess with her magic and greater experience on battles. But The Force itself is pretty hard for Zelda to bypass it even with her Light Force status. And even with their strongest forms that competes with each other, Leia is still on the top via greater universes and scaling showing. Zelda is a powerful leader and won't go down easy, but Leia's abilities and strong counters would led the victory for the Princess of Alderaan. Leia forced Zelda to end her last wisdom.
The winner is Leia Organa.
I think after reading this, I might go with Zelda. Leia definitely has a lot more than I thought she did, especially with that Oneness form, that thing is broken as hell, but if we’re giving Zelda the full triforce, than I think that should be enough to take out Leia.
I think Zelda’s hax are far greater than Leia’s with stuff like Time Manipulation, Time Travel, Reality Warping, Wish Granting, Existence Erasure, Power Nullification and Sealing. All things that Leia doesn’t really have any special resistances to outside of maybe Time Manipulation and Time Travel due to the fact that Oneness becomes one with Time and Space. But even then, Zelda could probably still just negate her Oneness Power and Force Powers, leaving Leia with nothing but her Lightsaber and Blasters.
I will say this, in terms of base stats, I think Leia might have a slight edge with the Kyp Durran Singularity Scaling, but Zelda is still much faster with the potential MFTL Flurry Rushes which means she should be able to use her hax faster than Leia can attack and defend and use her hax as well. Plus, Zelda should have a lot more intelligence and experience based on the fact that she reincarnates like all the time
Ultimately, while Leia is by no means a force pushover, I think Zelda has the speed, intelligence, experience and hax to Triforce her way into victory.
Akira The Kitsune
So I see that my verdict is how could Jedi Leia beats Zelda powerful forms like Light Dragon and Luminescent/Awakened Magic Form since can Star Wars Legend be used as Canon but all of Leia hax won't work with Zelda's powerful forms
Yo, Samfry here with a fitting Easter look to give my thoughts on this MU.
After reading through all this this, I'm gonna have to go with Zelda. Leia is definitely a lot more OP than I thought (like holy hell how have I not found all this out before now?) and while the Oneness form is clearly powerful as hell, I think Zelda being given the full Triforce would allow her to win.
Not only does Zelda seem to be able to deal with straight up all of Leia's hax, but it seems that Zelda’s own hax are far greater than Leia’s with her having stuff such as Time Manipulation, Existence Erasure, Power Nullification, and even just full on Sealing. Aside from the time related abilities, which require the previously mentioned Oneness form for Leia to counter, Leia just doesn't seem to have anything at her disposal to deal with all those.
Now, I won't lie. At a first glance, it can certainly seem like Zelda just can't match up to Leia's best feats. But when you look deeper, it's very much the opposite.
Even putting them at mostly even stats, Zelda just seems to be a hell of a lot faster, which of course means she'd get more chances to fire off her hax than Leia would. And Leia isn't really comparable to Zelda in terms of either intelligence or experience. All in all, I don't think Leia has many ways, if any at all, to actually win here.
Now, Leia is certainly by no means a weakling (seriously, she surpassed her own father in terms of power), but Zelda just has too much in her favor for Leia to actually come out on top.
This is Samfry signing off.

This debate is fascinating, I didn't expect to like this as much as I have, but it has been the most fun I've had discussing Zelda in VS in a while. Lets get into it: With everything Zelda is taking the stats before Leia hits Oneness (Having the FTF already helps with that), Oneness evens it out a lot though, and potentially could get stronger in ap, depending on if you take the Dimensional Tiering as high as you can. Both characters have a lot of good hax to use on each other, stuff like Force Drain and matter control would be of great use, while Zelda's sealing and time abilities would help her quite a bit. I think Zelda does take the edge in hax especially with the Triforce, Leia doesn't really have any resistances to getting erased or others of Zelda's abilities, some of which would grant her a solid win. Though both have ways to just one-shot the other, making it possible to go either way. Overall I think Zelda wins more often than not with very high difficulty, and I can definitely see the argument for Leia. This matchup is incredibly fun and I am glad that it is as close as it is.
This MU is really exciting for me, as I feel my thread on this MU really helped build popularity for it. This MU has always been around, though, even before my thread. Zelda and Leia are characters who everybody knows, but have trouble finding matchups. I think this blog does a great job showing the breadth of abilities each of them have, so let’s jump into my verdict.
From a casual perspective, I feel like most people would assume Zelda would win. Leia is iconic, but most audiences aren’t familiar with her larger exploits in both canon and legends. Zelda, on the other hand, is prominent in the Smash Bros series, where she fights a lot. For those in the know, it’s the opposite. Star Wars Legends has a lot of well known feats, whereas Zelda as a franchise is not often seen on the level of even other fantasy games. Zelda herself rarely does combat in her games. For this blog, though, spin-off material for both franchises were allowed, where she’s portrayed as more combat-capable.
The process of making this blog also revealed higher scaling arguments for the Zelda games. Whether or not this scaling is valid is really the biggest question. Most of these feats are derived from the Triforce, Light Force, and other divine and magical entities. As such, I believed that only characters infused with the Triforce could scale to these feats. While Zelda does possess the full Triforce in the Wild Duology, it’s not something she used all the time and even appears to have trouble using it on command. So I was unsure about whether or not to buy high ends, until this asshole showed up.
In A Link To The Past, Ganon just has the full Triforce. It’s not really explained how he’s using it, but he is. This implies that the Master Sword can scale to its full might. This implies a pretty high level of power to anyone who can scale to Link. The Triforce also gives Zelda a lot of resistances as well. Being able to resist the mind tricks of Leia is a big one. Zelda also has more offensive options in general. This includes a lot of things Leia has no reference for like time travel, sealing, summons, and more.
That being said, Leia has plenty of advantages herself. She definitely is better trained for combat than Zelda and is more adept at using her powers for actual combat. Her precognition through the Force seems better than Zelda’s similar options. Zelda has a lot of weapons, but the lightsaber is probably better than all of them. Also, Leia’s telekinesis counters a lot of them as well. While technometry and force-flash can disable tech like the Sheikah slate, most of the items Zelda has can simply be yanked away from her. She can also redirect projectiles or magic with Tutaminis.
The Force also allows Leia to gain instant kill conditions, which Zelda has to use her Triforce for, which is traditionally a last resort for her. I feel like in analyzing their personalities, Leia would be the first to go for kill shots. Of course, once Zelda begins tapping into her higher level magic items she should overpower the Force. But with the exception of the Triforce itself most of it channels that power as a conduit, whereas Zelda can still be disarmed.
The Force has high showings of power in Legends which allows for Leia to disarm Zelda. There’s even showings higher than Vaati’s dimension feat. However, at the highest level, Zelda trumps everything except for Oneness. Oneness is given a lot of scrutiny because Leia only achieves it one time, when she went into a magical monolith. With this power up, she’s able to vaporize someone who is also amped at the time. Whether or not Oneness is standard is the question, and I have a two part answer.
The first part is that the power difference is still apparent between Leia’s victim and Leia even when they’re both amped, which shows that Leia’s Force mastery is indeed higher than the average. The second is that this blog also allows a lot of arguable and situational stuff for Zelda as well, including powers only featured in Mangas and spin-offs like Hyrule Warriors. While the premise of this blog necessitated them, I feel like granting Leia Oneness as well. This would allow her to transcend Zelda’s time and sealing wincons.
Although to be perfectly honest I do think Leia can win without it. While Zelda might theoretically be able to counter telekinesis with her own Zelda has shown it far less often. Zelda is incredibly smart, especially with the Triforce of Wisdom, but does not commonly get into fights on her own. Zelda does have ways around Leia’s abilities, but a lot of her wincons feel out of character or come with drawbacks like her Light Dragon form. While Divine Magic like the Master Sword and Triforce outmuscles the Force, I feel Leia would be quicker on the draw for these abilities than Zelda. Zelda also might be smarter, but her plans are mostly on large, slower scales than a battle.
All of this to say that I feel like the winner is Leia Organa with high difficulty. It’s definitely a hard fight with Zelda’s extremely varied arsenal and higher level of strength. However I feel Leia has the counters she needs, more battle experience, and higher ends with Oneness. Zelda might Newly Hope she can Return the Jedi a good Strike Back, but Leia goes Wild and Tears her Kingdom to pieces.
- Could be argued the more powerful of the two
- Counters a lot of Zelda's hax
- Easily the more superior fighter
- Has haxes that can one-shot Zelda
- John Willams
- Hasn't been captured nearly as much
- Carrier Fisher
- Way less experienced and not as intelligent
- Doesn't resist all of Zelda's hax
- Has less haxes than Zelda
- Oneness time limit is way less than Luminescent Zelda (it'll also kill her)
- Current Disney Star Wars
- Kissed her brother
- Also has arguments of being as strong or stronger...
- Generations of more experience and has greater intelligence...
- Counters most of Leia's hax...
- Should beat Base Leia
- Her final form is definitely standard while Oneness is nowhere near as standard
- Has more hax to one shot Leia
- Luminescent will outlast Oneness
- Ocarina of Time and BOTW changed the game guys
- Tetra
- ...Arguments for being stronger are not as tight as Leia's
- ...Less skilled of the two when it comes to combat, especially in swordplay
- ...still dosent counter all of Leia's hax (Seriously Force Drain will screw her over)
- I had to look at a freaking CDI game for this blog
- Rats, the girl is terrified of them
- What the heck did they do to Tetra when she became Zelda!!!
